Done a bit of biking over the years, nothing special mind.
As the years have progressed, I became not only a fully blown grey-top but also in need of pedal-assist!
Both Nicola and I have Carrera Cross City folding bikes, they're basic and do the business.
I do all mechanical and electrical things, can turn myself to most things.
Why am I here, on this forum? Ah, that is the crux.
I have Gazelle Easy Glider step-through circa 2007, bought at the local recycling centre; luckily was there as the owners took it out of their estate!
Totally immaculate, 18 on the clock; superb. Yes, just eighteen!!!!
Only problem(s), no battery box cover, battery nor charger. She never rode this bike, he used his all of the time and therefore kept the goodies as spares, understandably. Now that I have time I 'd like to bring her back on the road, she deserves it.
I've tried to source the proper details, with no avail; however I'm sure that your learned members might be able to help?
The battery /charger are simple enough...... except there was a battery size change around that date; I don't want to buy the wrong ones!!!
The battery box cover and lock seem to be unobtainable from Gazelle, indeed they're not at all helpful; probably just want to sell me a new bike.
