New Schwinn bike on test

I posted previously that a Sunrunner had been submitted for test, but that was incorrect, a result of me misinterpreting a brief email.

In fact it was the new Schwinn that was received by A to B magazine. Report is that "it's lovely", but there's trouble with the charger at the moment. It's basically the 190 rpm Nano motor in a big wheel.

More as I get it, but it will be good to finally get something on this bike after such a long wait.

Hopefully the Sunrunner will still turn up in due course.

Reflecting on those Schwinn details, it looks like the gearing to speed of that motor will give the Schwinn an eZee Torq like speed range. Comparing the weights of the two bikes and the different motor powers, they are likely to perform similarly, but I think the Torq could have the edge in the market on two points. It's fully equipped with full mudguards lights etc., and I'd guess the Schwinn will be dearer.
