Spent so much time to get the battery to fit in the frame did not notice the angle of the front tube but a quick bit of metal work and mounting bracket completed no time for a test ride today and the brake cut outs to fit tomorrow the battery is on charge
My xxl camber frame just about took a standard hailong 3 case, once the rear shock was inverted. I encased the bafang motor in mudguards from decathlon
48V 14.5 AH from ali express with 750watt motor as a kit, would normally not buy a china battery pack but if I like the ride will swap to a 52v pack with ga cells going to make a ali bash guard
Finished an test ride over conclusion the 48v 750watt bbs02 is the best for noise and efficiency, in both power and smoothness and overall delivery it peaked at 1100 plus watts but pulled 800w plus most of the time and the 48volt held up well but can see the advantage a 52 volt pack would have later into a long ride. on the gps track it was full 2 mins quicker than the zobop on the same route
It only takes a bit of practise once you do a few builds, you cannot walk past a normal bike without thinking will a motor fit does the battery go in that gap. The best thing was the build only took a day and all worked to out first go
