Help! New here,What conversion kit shall i buy

I've bought a Scott aspect 960 XL frame I'm wondering what kind of conversion kit I would need. I want something with a lot of speed plus a lot of range also something cheap if not something with long range also want it to be like a tap and go (e scooter)

£300 won't buy much, for most it would just about cover a reasonable battery cost.

For throttle and 25mph it's easy buy a used moped and not ride an illegal bike conversion, for 25mph you need a very good battery and higher current then most bikes have. None of this comes cheaply.

@Nealh Has the best solution-get an old moped. Any kit you get will not do what you want for your budget. With a moped you will be safer, the brakes are more efficient for 20mph+ speeds and you will not be breaking the law.

You can get a super motorbike for £1000, forget mopeds go for an nice little 250cc, there are hundreds out there. Much safer and legal.

For £500, you can get a kit which will just about do 20mph on the flat with the wind behind you. Average speed with normal pedalling would be 12 -14 mph., and 8 - 10 mph mph on hills.

For £750, you can buy a used 50cc scooter that will do 30 mph and 150 mpg, so running costs are negligible if you maintain it yourself. The £750 includes tax and insurance.

I'd suggest you contact someone like whoosh, who will help you choose a suitable ebike kit for your bike. The back up service and help you will get will save you not only money in the long run, but help with technical issues also.

Tbh I don't think you will be happy with any ebike you get.
First you only wanted to spend £300 and up to 25mph and now you have decide to triple your budget and settle for 15mph. You will be unhappy that you have spent more then you really wanted to and that you can't achieve the speed you need at a continuous rate.
