New Front T-Bag conversion kit "Panda Swift"

Featured Replies

HI All

We have a new product just arrived.

It is a nifty new kit with battery and controller in a front T-bag making it ideal for folding bikes or Ladie's frames

Here is the build video provided by ElectricBikeBuilder

It comes with an 8Ah SAMSUNG battery which is surprisingly powerful for the size and weight

Total price is £425 - see here to buy

Any plans for a 20 inch wheel version ? Would suit the Swift Xootr folder perfectly at half the price of the official one.

Which Samsung cells are used please

And weight of pack?

Finally I work with a lot of ex-forces. T bag means something rather different to them !

As Kirsten S has kindly pointed out, I would suggest a name change be considered as there are somewhat undesirable connotations to this one. Something like 'Panda Pal ' or equally innocuous. It's always worth running product names through a check for other meanings. A Japanese motor bike maker did wonder why their 'Kamikaze' model flopped in the market as did the Italian car maker with their lovely new 'Rusticana' saloon. The owner of 'Athletes Foot' shoe shop in Paris must be puzzled why no tourists buy his wares.

Different coloured bags in nice materials and this will fly. Especially with matching Saddle covers.

Don't worry guys this product is called the "Panda Swift" as you can see in all the promotional materials and listing

"T-BAG" is just the word we have been using to describe the battery setup.

Perhaps we should alter this to "Handlebar bag"?

29E cell from SAMSUNG, it is actually 36V8.7AH. Total weight is 1.9kgs with controller and bag

If you can obtain a 16" wheel 85mm wide motor you can take the Brompton Market by storm with a product less than Half the price I paid for my conversion!

Hi, we actually have just that item coming in stock in about a week. Specialised 85mm hubs for bromptons, they will be a bit pricier but still cheaper than the official one!

I don't suppose you'll be doing 20" rims with the 85mm motor?

Regards
