Hi all! I've built ebikes since 2005 and I've studied geometry and metallurgy technology to build lithium packs which is about 95% faster than spot welding. It's not a profit making idea, It will be a free-to-copy, user focused tech R&D company/project.
Thank you to the Pedelecs Team for granting permission for me to announce this here:
It's complicated technology including micrographs, asperities, certifications, physics, comprehensive tests and benchmarks, detailed specification info, liaison with suppliers like LG/Samsung/Panasonic for official collaborations. I want this for me: top quality pressed metal electrical equipment, very cheap, for my home ebike projects!
It's the first lithium kit that can build a 1Kwh ebike pack in only 20 minutes. It's the first tech which uses high-gauge pure electrical metals for battery contacts, not thin pieces of spring-metal... so it can handle 10x times higher current than anything else available: The minimum specification 36V battery is 1800W.
Ebike li-ion EE certification is not a certainty, but it's the ultimate company goal, by testing and using only select cells from the best companies.
For price, flat-pack kits will be less than $1 / cell. It's less than $50 / cell for just the precision components if you 3D-print the hull. Fully built boxes will be less than $1.50.
I have to found a company to manage the research/ development/ certifications/ sales, of kits, although It can just as well be a non-profit foundation, because the goal is to sell technology super cheap, as I'd want for my own DIY adventures.
If you wish to help me to bring this technology to reality, please send this to everyone, It will be free to all people of the world and will be available from various sources, same as the rep-rap and Arduino tech. I would be very happy.
Cheers! www.easybatterybox.com
