So have had my new wisper 905eco for 2 days now and had my first problem after 2 days of great fun! I was trying to run the battery down, as specified in the manual for conditioning. I had it down to 1 red light on the controller capacity inidicator. I then turned a corner and pulled the throttle and heard a horrid mateal scraping sound.

Looked at the bike and noticed that the motor looked different. Now I'm not sure how to describe this but the black metal case screw type thing had come away from the main part of the motor - I could see the silver thread of the cap. I screwed this back in as tightly as I could and the bike was fine again.

Can anyone explain what has happened here - should I be worried? How tight does this cap have to be?

Thanks

Hi Ian
I would suggest contacting the dealer and/or Wisper to get their opinion. Could be just a screw has worked loose, but with the bike being so new and under warranty it's worth getting it checked out
Pleased to hear you're enjoying the bike

I don't quite follow, had the large nut come loose on the spindle (sits under a black plastic cover) or the smaller screws on the motor itself?
