Need your advise for this battery powered folding scooter

I always want to give my father a light weight, compact electric scooter which he could use everyday without getting too much hassle about the weight, storage and charging. For the past few years I just could not find one within my budget. Few days ago I come across this one and looks just like the one he wanted. Have anybody seen this before? http://www.efoldi.co.uk/ Please let me know what you think and I am seriously thinking to get one from Kickstarter when it goes live. I can see my farther uses it and take it everywhere in his car. Any advise will be appreciated.

20 kph would be illegal in the UK, I think the limit is 13 kph (8mph).

Small wheels won't like any kerbs or obstructions.
Low seat height could cause issues. What's up with an electric trike?

UK road legal limit is 8mph and eFOLDi said it would be limited to legal speed but you could use it at lower speed, couldn't you? I just like it compact and my Dad wants it due to the size and easy to fold. Thanks anyway.

I like the idea of the efoldi but its diminutive size when folded (60cm x 50cm x x 30cm) suggests that when unfolded, it would be about 1.1m long. For a high speed tricycle, lack of suspension for small wheels, its small size and weight would not make me feel safe. It's tricky to rest your feet comfortably for long rides. I reckon its main use is to ride 10 minutes in your local parks.
