Hello all,
You may have seen my question in the Technical forum, I have a Salisbury Powacycle-LPX and last night I pulled it apart to try modify it for more speed and to remove the peddle assist feature for full motor and peddle speed.
I have taken your advice and put the bike back together and go buy a new one. What I am looking for is a bike that has no governed features, and can do a nice top speed in comfort, and also hopefully be reasonable in quality, another concern is parts availability in the future.
I could stretch the budget for the right bike, I figure I will be buying it from the UK, and I need a online shop that will ship to Ireland, and accept Paypal, maybe eBay.
I have looked around but it's scary when you don't know anything much about pedelecs, so I am here asking for advise before making (a second) wrong purchase.
As it stands now the longest commute I will be doing is 14 miles and for a lot of that journey I can travel at any speed. After that I will be just using the bike for evening cycles.
Thanks lads!
