Have you tried anything? Have you checked all the connections? Have you removed and refitted the battery? Have you charged it again? Do you have any pics that might help others to help you? :)

My first port of call would be to check that the battery is out putting a sensible voltage with a DVM. It's ok saying it's charged but if for some reason there's a internal fault it may not output voltage, a blown fuse or defective battery switch are two possible starting points.
Test and check to rule out basic assumption's one or two at a time, then move on to the next process from there.

A new fuse should solve the issue what rating was used previously.
Another thought is to why it blew ?
A possible wire short or a power spike?

Nealh has an excellent point. Your bike ought not to blow a 30a fuse without a short or anything. Unless heavy rain could have caused a brief short (or something similar) there may be a good chance it will pop again very quickly upon replacement

But might just be a random Gremlin ! Hope so

It sounds like you have incorrect polarity on the charger. Either that or it was totally faulty. I doubt that it will have done any damage to the bike. Chargers often fail, sometimes spectacularly.

In stead of using "it", why no tell us what happened using nouns, like, battery, charger, plug and socket, then we might get some idea of what's happened. Complete sentences with a subject, verb and object might help too. I've re-read your posts several times, and I still haven't a clue what you've done or what happened other than that there were some sparks and smoke.

i was putting the battery back on to the bike when the output connector shorted. is this a better explanation
will this have damaged the motor or the controller. In normal operation the bike doesnt work unless the on switch is pressed on the lcd control screen
