Need a cheap rear rack for a battery

Hi .Just got one of these for my giant sedona . To add additional range to the bottle mount batt. Been looking on ebay etc.But searches just find regular non battery ones or battery racks with batteries intergrated. Am i looking in the wrong place or will a regular rack do? Thanks if anyone can help.

Depends on the weight of the battery and condition of the roads. I regular break pannier racks and on my list is a custom made one.

Local bicycle shop bought the best one yet and only cost ten leva, less than a fiver.

Above a photo of the present rack in use. Given a few of the roads are 4x4 territory the latest rack is holding up rather well, no signs of stressing.

Any strong pannier rack should be ok if you can make your own battery mounts, battery specific racks are available from BMS for $19.
Be aware that rack mounted batteries will affect the handling more than frame mounted ones.

Yeah i was concerned about it ruining the handling to be honest.Ive already got a 17.4ah battery mounted on the frame .Want longer range so not much choice ,Picked up a 13ah pannier batt cheap. Will take a gander at bms ,thanks
