It may be, but it seems to be very theoretical at the present stage, mainly a demonstration of it's electrode potential. Like all such research, a long way to go before a practical application is with us.

The research organisations and companies that have concentrated on fast charge have demonstrated one minute charges and the like using various methods, but when developed and brought to a viable stage the charge time tends to be more like 30 minutes which is not very useful.
