There are two nano bromptons on ebay. Just wondering why they are giving them up...

One looks older another at least two years old. My motor has about three years of daily use on it and really needs replacing.

As these kits are expensive if you don't have the contacts or skills to buy and replace parts yourself probably best to move on.

Of course the base Bromptons themselves have a good resale value :)

hi Jerry,

Slight off topic, have you tried the ebrake sensor from Dave yet? I am tempted to use it on brompton 2013 brakes.

Thanks
Pat

Top of my list of things to do.

Hopefully in the next week or two :p

If they work well, I will be treating myself to a new set of 2013 Brompton brake levers :)

They can't not work. Why shouldn't they? I have them on three bikes and they work perfectly. What are you expecting to hear from Jerry other than when you apply the brakes it cuts the controller?

Will do. That is of course what I meant not that I doubted they work, but that I could fit them in a suitable place (I may just fit one not sure yet) and that I could then get rid of the cheap horrible cut out brake and upgrade to the new Brompton 2013 brake levers as well :p

The existing Brompton brakes fowl the thumb throttle I use.

I have in fact already included four more in a recent order I have just placed with Outrider. The units themselves are much smaller than I thought, again a good thing when fitting to a Brompton.

No - as I found out. It'll work in reverse that way, so you can only get power when he brakes are on. Don't ask me how it works! It's a mystery to me.
