Leicester LE4, UK.
The basic idea has been used before on other designs, the crank freewheel is necessary on such designs to prevent the pedals spinning when power is applied.

I'm not sure it would fit UK bikes though as it attaches to the button bracket, not something we have on bikes over here.

This is the Cyclone kit. Has received some poor reviews, I think mainly due to the nylon chainwheel not being up to the job.

Here's their site (turn down speaker volume first!)

Why do they do that. it's an immediate turn-off.
Its Paul (Ping-Yueh Lin), and his partner Savannah, both of then keen on many types of music!

When they tripped over Jerry Chang's brilliant electric guitar arrangement of Pachelbel's Canon on YouTube, they promptly added that to one of the pages as well at one time, might still be there.

Seems they run the business for themselves rather than for customers.

it's not that bad, the design of the kit seems good but the fixing system seems a bit inconvenient. no idea why there is a plastic wheel there instead of a metal one?!? where is the proper design!

watched a video and it seems a bit noisy, and found a review which says it's not really weatherproof / can't handle puddles, it's probably okay, chain falls off a bit, have some spare fuses that kind of thing. it's a good system, should be improved!
