Mycle classic step through, Ampere deluxe, Volt Kensington, Juicy Malva?

Has anyone got any experience of these bikes?

I am looking for a step through bike. I prefer having the battery in the frame rather than on the rack at the back, hence the choice. I could go higher on the budget and have looked at Volt Kensington but am concerned about the exposed battery (I have arthritis and am trying to minimise the faffing around needing when parking at work - for example, if it rained on the way in I would have to take the volt battery out to dry it off). I like the look of Juicy Malva but it seems to be out of stock everywhere!

The Mycle's been discussed before (if you do a forum search). The Estarli with a little bigger battery looks the same.

I think it looks an okay package for the money. It's got some nice features: decent cells, KT controller (apparently), mudguards and rack, disc brakes... The only issues for me would be A) the battery at 6.4Ah is a bit too small and B) I'm not keen on the battery cable/plug hanging under the bike and being exposed to rain splash. If that didn't matter too much, I'd buy one (in preference to my Fiido D11 20" wheel folding e-bike which also has a seat-post battery, but 11.6Ah).

Yes, I saw that - I think that’s the Mycle folding bike that’s being discussed? I’m interested in the Classic, which has a bigger battery (9.6Ah). It’s the risk of rain splash I’m worried about, and I have similar worries about the battery with the Volt Kensington - although the rest of the spec for that bike is attractive (albeit for a price, and I am mindful that many components can be upgraded if desired).

Ah! Yes. Sorry. My bad! Because you already have a Seago folding bike, I assumed it was the folding Mycle you were looking at. Just looking at the Classic now, it does look very well spec'd for the price; disc brakes, Shimano Tourney 7-speed derailleur, 9.6Ah LG celled battery, KT current controller, rack, colour-keyed mudguards, rack, it's even got an Abus cafe lock: It looks a lot of bike for £999.
