My Kalkoff, carrying toddlers and panniers...

Hello All,

I am due delivery of my Kalkoff this week and look forwards to tackling the hills of North London!

I plan to fit a child seat for a 4 yr old on the rear, but reckon I need paniers as well. One option is the hamax plus system, but i have to remove the nice rack my bike will come with. Has anyone solved this problem?

For my 2012 Agattu, the velcro attached pannier from Lidl was satisfactory for me.

Just my opinion but wouldn't a small childs trailer be safer for all ?

Not a bad idea, think i will look in to it. Really helpful thanks for all comments. Btw love my bike, its great! Picked it up yesterday. Will use it a bit before fitting anything for son. The fish
