Has anyone tried using an MT60 connector to connect their controller to their motor?

My Bafang has a waterproof Juliet connector, but the cheapo kit on my other bike has crappy bullet connectors. This looks like a better solution and I wondered if anyone had tried it?

I have them on my KT controllers replacing the crappy bullets.
The insulator/shroud only fits one way on to the main MT body so if you use them do make sure you solder the wires in the correctly sequence, they certainly make for a better job.

Yep, I've used them in conjunction with heatshrink shroud. Absolutely fine. I found them a bit fiddly to solder - but had two pairs and got there in the end.

I think I might use two, one at the controller and the other close to the motor, so if I have to repair a flat I can easily detach the motor from the frame. Well, at least that would take care of the power connectors, but I'll have to find a waterproof 6 way connector for the Hall sensors...

Hubs don't need them as most use a waterproof julet 2 part connector.

My hub comes with bullet connectors and a 6 way plastic snap together connector for the speed and Hall sensors, so no Juliet (or is it Julet??) joy for me.

However, what I was thinking was to chop the cable near the hub and put in new waterproof connectors right by the hub so that if the back wheel needs to be removed, you can disconnect the cable from the bike easily, so you don't have to snip off all your cable ties and then put new ones on when you put the back wheel on and re-assemble the cabling...or worse, risk twisting and damaging the cable if the wheel is removed with the cable left attached to the bike.
