Finding my (electric) wheels

Hi,

I'm totally new to electric bikes. I have been looking at the Woosh Sport as the price seemed good and it fit my initial requirement of a 6 mile ride to work with little effort ( read no need to shower), the return has a 400 ft elevation over a relatively short distance, but its not silly steep.

As always the budget and thoughts of what you could use the bike for creeps up and I am also looking at the kudos tornado.

I'm a little under 12 stone and 5'8".

In reality I would use the bike 99% for commuting and the occasional holiday on muddy or gravel track in places like the new forest. Would both fit the bill just fine? For my requirements would I really gain that much for the extra £400+ additional cost of the Kudos?

Any others that I should consider. I must say that the Woosh price point is an attractive quality, but am I missing something?

Thanks, Steve

I have owned my KUDOS SPORT a year now, which cost only £595. Its has served me well, mainly for leisure use, and have yet to have any complaints on its performance. I recommend you have a look at the model, and some of its reviews on this forum, as I regard it as a good value trouble free proposition.

The Kudos Tornadois much more powerful than the Woosh, which is handy for over-weight or unfit people that have nasty hills to climb. If you turn up the power, you won't go so far, but 12 miles to work and back would be no problem. The Kudos Sport and Cobra are the lower power equivalents to the Woosh. All of them are nice bikes that do what they're supposed to. Choosing a bike these days is very hard because there's so many nice ones.
