Motor overload?

Hi ,
I love my powacycle bike and it gets me out. However I am on holiday with my daughter and we went for a 10 mile ride. After 7 miles the electric stopped but I hadn't had any warning of battery running out. I turned the battery off had our picnic and then turn the electric on. It worked for a mile until we found a hill. It's looks like I have motor overload problems. Is this the end of my motor life?

Not likely to be the motor. they either work or not. it would be very unusual for one to fix itself and then start up again. Most likely, the battery, but could be a bad connection anywhere. We need more detail to pin it down.

Unlikely.
How old is your battery? What kind of use and charging has it had? How/where do you store it when not in use?
Which model of bike is it?
Hi, the battery is new. Not a lot of use but as soon as I use it, I charge it. It's stored in a dry garage attached to the house, so warm. It's the way it suddenly goes off...

Thank you, that sounds cheaper. We will look at replacing the wire / connection

With Batteries when not used much its best to keep them in a cool environment and at a lower charge level, then charge them the night before you use them. If used regularly (daily /weekly) then keep them topped up ready for action.
If its new or little used may be its not balanced properly and a cell group is low, we need to have two voltage readings one when fully charged hot off the charger and one the next day when its been rested.
