Motor for a tricycle

Dear All,

I just joined Pedelecs, and I have a question. I have a tricycle and I am considering fitting an electric motor to it.

I only know of the Heinzmann motors, but they seem a bit expensive. Can you recommend other motors that would do the same job?

Yes, the Crystalyte motors are powerful and will do the job well. Have a word with Team Hybrid who can offer these and other types that are suitable. Their phone number is 01329 830117

They are all a bit over powered to comply strictly with UK law though, and you'll see this is warned onsite. Many are in use despite this.
