Hello all, its been a while since I've had any problems, mainly because I haven't been on my bike much. Recently decided to service the hub motor
check the wiring is OK after replacing the Hall sensors & lube the planetary gears also add another torque bar to the other side of the forks. All went fine, took it out for a test ride, initially flat road work then started to climb a moderately steep hill it started to cutout the motor intermittently. just a few seconds in & out Managed to get it home , Through it in the garage till today.
Thinking faulty wire connection somewhere, very awkward intermittent faults. Everything points to the motor? does the same with pedalling & the thumb throttle.
I'm Guessing it appears to be something to do with torque, when the wheel cuts out it will not start again until throttle off or stop pedalling then throttle up or pedal it starts? but quickly stops again now could there be a problem with the controller? and a high torque issue up hills?
If anybody has had a similar prob or any ideas please share.
Thanks All.
