Never mind the KTM Wissy , a Woosh Sant Ana arrived in the family yesterday . It was more exciting, as we didn`t know when it was due to arrive. It was only when a City Link van arrived in the Close that the driver confirmed that he did indeed have a large Woosh box onboard . More excitement opening the large box and peering inside . It took more time to remove the bubble wrap than to fit the stem with handlebars and pedals .
That was all the fitting that had to be done , apart from charging the battery . I must admit that the machine looks substantial when compared to my Batribike Quartz Folder . Very nicely finished and scary in black . Certainly not orange and arty looking like your KTM Wissy .
I was the test pilot for the first run this morning and even on the first run into wind , the GPS was reading 16.9 mph pedalling with Medium assist . A 22 mile run this afternoon in formation with my Folder will be interesting .
Wissy if you happen to be out on your KTM and pass Prince William going the other way , he`ll probably think , `Oh only a KTM similar to my Ducati` . Now if he were to pass the black Woosh he would wonder about it and try to work out what it was, as it has no name or logo to tell you . I think he would be curious about this mysterious black bike and send a minion to enquire with the serf riding it .
He would be told it was from a far off land via another land inhabited by Essex girls and boys . A KTM from Austria via Norfolk doesn`t have the same ring about it .
