More Ebike Converts

The Sunday Times Columnist Daisy Goodwin seems to be very pleased with her new Sparta Ebike . She appears to be a Commuter who mentions riding in kitten heels and reaching 22 mph to put one over the Lycra brigade . The article appears in the News Review Section page 4 . I gave some demo rides to a family member on my Batribike Folder yesterday and perhaps an order will be going to Woosh soon . Pity the Demo wasn`t on a Woosh ,as Hatti sends you £15 if you are signed up .

The Sunday Times Columnist Daisy Goodwin seems to be very pleased with her new Sparta Ebike .

Daisy was one of our first customers at 318 Portobello Rd. and it was a real surprise to find that she'd written about her new found love in the Sunday Times - its exactly what the industry needs more of:

She writes very well, she doesn't have an axe to grind, she's not a cycling journalist, and she understands how to get the fun and benefits of e-bikes across to every-day folk.

Kmh? Mph? techno-NiCaD, AmpZaps? Who cares! As Clinton said, its the experience stupid. (didn't he?)

I really enjoyed her article as she encapsulated the sheer joy of riding an ebike so well - and I particularly liked the tales of her jousts with the lycra brigade on the streets of London. I thought her use of the term "cycopaths" excellent - although as I live in a rural area I never come across cyclists like this ( except for the MTB nutters in my local woods).

Great article thanks for that FB link.....I dont totally agree with her though.....at least, not with the title ........much as I love Ebikes...I mean....really ?......I dont think so
