mirror with throttle

Is it possible to mount a mirror to the end of the handle bars when I have a throttle on my Big Bear?

There is a small hole in the end but enough to insert a screw driver so there doesn't seem to be and electrics inside the handlebar.

I wonder if I can just cut the grip back enough to mount the mirror without affecting the throttle?

Yes. Just cut the end of the twistgrip. You can then fix your mirror inside the handlebar.
