I've just bought a Woosh Santana CD for my wife. It arrived on Wednesday so I set about putting it together. I wasn't happy with the front disk brake but as I was going out on a 12 hour night shift I left it alone.

In the morning when I got home I decided to take the bike to a bike shop in Grangemouth.

I went in and asked the guy if he could adjust the front disk brake for me. He said, "yes, if you bring it in NOW, as I'm only working half day today" So I took it from the car and he set about it. He adjusted the brake, then adjusted the gears then checked for any loose bolts and things.
When he finished I asked how much I owed him. He looked at me and said, " we have a minimum charge for jobs" Then he paused and said "£6.00" I laughed and handed him a tenner. £6 for someone who turns up and asks you to adjust a bike they've just bought on the internet. He's a star.

Fitzcharles cycles in Grangemouth, take a bow.

He is indeed a star Jimod.

How refreshing in these rip off times of ours.

Happy cycling.
