HAD A LOOK AT BATRIBIKE TODAY,STILL UNDECIDED FOUND MY NEAREST BIKE SHOP SELLS DAWES E BIKES,LIKE THE BOOST CITY AT £799 BUT USED TO STEP THRU FRAME SO MUST HAVE "LADIES" FRAME AS I HAVE ALWAYS HAD.

TRYING TO MOUNT A GENTS IS A BIT STRENUOUS FOR OVER 70s,IT IS ALONG TRIP OVER THE BATTERY.

ANYBODY TELL ME ANYTHING ABOUT DAWES EBIKES?

Dawes are a respected bike manufacturer, but like most their products are basically the usual Chinese mix. The step-through Boost model looks like many e-bikes of this type, the usual Suzhou Bafang style rear hub-motor and carrier battery. It should perform as well as any other of this class of e-bike and the £800 price is reasonable and competitive.

Having a local dealer for support is always a good idea, so I'd say a good choice for you, especially if you are able to try it and it suits you.
