Just spotted this unusual news story unfolding in Russia....
Not often you get a meteor falling in a heavily populated town/city area is it!..this happened in central Russia.. quite bizarre and scary, by a nuclear power station too!
Just hows how vulnerable we are to to these random meteors, and this was only a small one but from the descriptions it sounds like the effects of the impact was like a major earthquake effect, shaking multi-storey buildings, shattering windows and collapsing some buildings etc...loads of people injured from falling debris from the buildings and the meteor itself.
One guy said it was dark but it suddenly became like daylight from the meteor light as it entered the lower atmosphere which was blinding light he said!
