I'm not a great one for McDonald's but must applaud their thinking on this one.

The concerns for people's health that eat at those sorts of places without question is well founded. I'd happily see them and all their friends disappear from our environment.

These food concerns always remind me of a scientific trial of breakfast cereals in the USA quite few years ago.

As well as a group of rats being fed a particular cereal, another group were only fed the cardboard boxes the cereal came in.

They flourished better on the cardboard than the group eating the breakfast cereal.

Sadly they didn't announce the breakfast cereal in question, no doubt the major producers and their legal departments are too big and powerful to upset in such a way.
