I've been looking at maps that are good at showing gradients for routes (partly wanting to check likely gradients to help decide on suitable conversion kit). The most useful I have found so far is https://gb.mapometer.com/, particularly as it can show gradients directly (rather than just steepest part of elevation graph). Any other suggestions? It would be really nice to have one with an overlay that coloured roads directly according to gradient.
The Woosh page (http://wooshbikes.co.uk/clearway.php?) is a bit of an oddity. Quite useful, but it seems to find maximum gradients much bigger than I think they should be (high frequency sampling noise?)
