Just thought I would give a belated 'heads up' (no pun intended) to a series running on Channel 5 Making Faces | Channel 5

I share a professional interest in the work performed by the Birmingham team, some of whom I know personally.

I would recommend it as excellent viewing.

You do not get the full story of what goes on and it is obviously edited for TV, but worth watching. Of course the real stars are the patients.

Yes, I thought of you when I saw this series was coming on John, right up your street since it's your "day" job. I'm think that this is the first time that maxillofacial construction and surgery has ever been a TV program feature in the UK.

Yes it is a profession that most members of the public know little about and hopefully they will be fortunate enough not to require our services.
