You shouldn't need to worry about that. I've never set P1 on any of the plethora of KT controllers I've ever used, except on one sensorless one, where the motor was running rough. Just set the speed sensor correctly and you should be fine.Can anyone tell me what the P1 setting in a K-lcd5 display should be for a Mahle x35 motor.
The P1 is derived from the motor gear reduction ratio x number of rotor magnet pieces.
That's weird. I've used both LCD3 and now LCD4 with my AKM128, and I didn't set P1 for either, which reminds me. Since I fitted the LCD4, I haven't done any settings, so the throttle is illegal. That was handy last week when I couldn't pedal, but need to sort it now.P1 does affect some hubs , my akm128 wouldn't go over 10mph until I input the correct or near enough value. I had swapped out my bafang cst motor wheel and forgot to adjust the P1 .
