Hi, i was wondering if anybody does magnet fishing.

People seem to find old bikes when magnet fishing, maybe a donor bike for somebody.

Fishing isn't one of my things, but years ago I went with a couple of friends just to be out and about. A woman nearby with her two young children was trying to fish with bread as bait, with no luck, and the little boy came over and was looking at our maggots.

 

I said you can have some maggots, at which he turned and called out "Mummy, this man is going to give us some magnets".

Interesting stuff for sure and they seem to be having fun in the video.

Metal detectorists are pretty successful finding artefacts and coins in rivers. This would seem to allow for wholesale "dredging" of the riverbed without having to get wet.
