Hi all,

I am looking to put a 50t chainring on a tsdz2, will I need a longer chain, I won't need the biggest 3 cogs on the back if that matters?

many thanks

I would order one anyway as you will need it at some point. Then take your current chain off, fit your new chainring, wrap your current chain around your new chainring, the larger back sprocket you intend to use (not through derailleur at all), put the the chain so it is tight and see if you have a link spare. If you do you should be ok, this is on a medium cage rear derailleur, you may even have to shorten your chain.
