Hiya All

Still alive and kicking here:)

Went out last week on the Aurora and still a great bike. Took the old Powertrek Dynamo twin motor bike out today for a 20 mile warm up to give it an airing and all went well. That has also been a stella bike considering it was never one of the big names and an unknown quantity. The E bike mag arrived last week, there are plenty of new bikes out their now(spoilt for choice comes to mind)
Never could get the drugs sorted out so just taking the beta blocker now, Been having palpitations of late so am having a 24hr portable ecg fitted next Monday but you can bet like the last time I had one on for a day the condition didn`t appear:(

Anyway, just thought I`d drop in to say hello

Hello Old Timer,
Glad to see you're still having fun. What is the "E-Bike mag" you refer to, I didn't know there was one.

If its available, I would have to take it like a drug of addiction. I'll bet it's even got colour pictures of scantily clad E-Bikes! Ooooohhh!!

Hi Dave, good to hear from you again, and still riding that twin hub motor beast!

Don't worry about the condition, enjoying yourself won't do any harm and will probably do you good.

Nice one, Dave. I too have just got back in the saddle for my daily commute, but it was the darkness on a very fast & hilly road which kept me car-bound since the beginning of December. Now that the evenings are lighter I can enjoy the journey once more. Maybe I'll buy myself some lights that I can see by (as opposed to just making me visible) as an early Christmas present next winter. Or maybe I'll just wimp out & opt for Radio 3 in a warm car again...

Thanks Ed, looks like this week will be up to 18C.
I`ll tell you a funny thing, the young lady next door rides an E bike and the other day she said that someone shot at her with a paint ball gun. She turned around and went back but couldn`t see any body about. It was only the next day 15 miles from home that her tyre went completely down and she realised that the paint was in fact the goo from her own rear inner tube as it punctured:) She is quite ill with ME and I have always told her to take a mobile with her and if she gets stuck to ring me and I`ll go and get her in my van and of course that afternoon I was at the dentist and turned my phone off and forgot to turn it back on:-( but she found the only cycle shop for miles and rang them and they went in there van and retrieved her and fitted a new tube luckily.

Good story Dave and nice to hear you are back out on the Aurora. We are hoping to come down to Norfolk in April to have a go on the Marriott Way with our new kit bikes.
Hope the weather stay's at minimum 18c which will be a treat. Never been above 6c up here in Scotland since I don't know when.

Look after yourself.
