The picture of the cyclist giving Boris the finger was a case of bad timing on his part. Love him or hate him, segregated lanes in particularly dangerous areas for cycling are a good thing and if Boris's input assists in their role out then it's something to be applauded, not an opportunity to insult him.

His pro-cycling attitude is notable in a positive way, but in general I am not a fan other than when listening to some of his performances which can make me laugh. It's the tory ideology that I don't tend to run with..

Watched the Mayor's question time the other day and he is still enthusiastic about pushing the scheme through but it is TfL that have to face all the local nimby objections.

Maybe the Germans won't have the same problems:
