Hi everyone. I have been using a folding eLife pedelec for about 18 months, and it is a worthy thing, albeit rather heavy for me to load into my campervan.
However, I enjoy riding it, and I am lucky that the area around my home is very flat and has been well-used by hordes of cyclists during the pandemic lockdown.
My main point though, since this is personal is this: I am 72 years old, have had two hip replacements and suffer from some arthritis, but get this- once on board safely I can thrash away at the pedals nae bother, and have been going on rides of about 18 miles sometimes. Also as a 5 ft 6in short-arse, I need a step through, low frame model, and I want to upgrade to a Dutch-style bike (non-folding of course). My ideal bike would be a Gazelle Arroyo or similar, but I think a Decathlon
Oleps 900e step over Classic is probably the one for me. Any comments or advice would be welcome.
