Dazzling!

Must remember to dig out my sunglasses before re-entering this thread to see the results!

Anyone spotting this at night, must surely think its something out of E.T ;-)

I like how the big muther one is just tucked underneath, like an extra measure in case all the others don't do it ;-)

Reminds me of some of the Vespa scooters that were similarly equipped by latter day Mods.
That set up is very funny. Full light-throw capture night shots eagerly anticipated. Looks like something which should have been on Mad Max and the Thunderdome ....
Who needs brakes with lights like those - "Engage photon torpedoes Scotty - Aye captain"

You need brakes to stop the bike going too fast backwards when you switch them all on.

There's plenty of room for another big light underneath the one on the far right (when viewed from the front). Shame on you.

Thirteen Ultrafire 18650 cells and three AAA cells. The little torch with 3 AAA cells is only for comparison. It won't be making much contribution.

Parking light? :)

Indeed, that's what I first thought too.. I remember those as a wee lad, the mopeds covered in mirrors on both sides ;-) The more mirrors you had, the higher your status? :D I never did understand the whole "mod" thing but I remember their distinctive green coats and skinny ties.

The good old days:cool:

Taking photos of lights at night it easy with a smartphone. Many came out out of focus and some out of line and the contrast in all of them seemed to cancel out the background. I managed to get some that showed something. Here's the claimed 18000 lumens. As I seitched on each light it got brighter 'til abot half-way, then more lights didn't seem to make a difference. 6 T6 LEDs was anout the maximum.

The bike light with three LEDs is more than adequate for normal use. No car will pull out on you at night time with this one on full.

Here's it on lowest setting:

Here's highest setting. The posts in the distance are much further than they appar in the photo. It's lighting up about 50 meters like daylight. The black bit of the road is water. All the trees around are also lit up but the photo doesn't show them.:

Incredible. I got to get one. There's some well dangerous places where I ride at night, middle of nowhere, no street lights, nothing, and water, lots of water..rivers and lakes..I was riding home one night around this lake by just the moonlight cuz my bike light was doing nothin.. I had my nokia n810 on the handlebar giving a reassuring little glow from the LCD but the SatNav showed me as being in the lake..I was like...wut! I looked down..everything felt dry, so I carried on lol

Have you got a lux meter? It would be interesting to see what the reality of lumens is compared to the makers' claims. There is really tons of light there but a benchmark of actuality would be handy for comparison when it comes to choosing lights - a BS factor to apply to makers' figures, if you will.
Numbers doon't really mean anything. The 3 LED torches are about the same as a car headlight. That's all you need on a bicycle. The one LED ones would be adequate for most people.
Bright enough for a rabbit shoot

Stuff the wabits.. its foxes and deer

Opppppppppsss lamping deer is verboten, just the foxes then :p

you should bee safe from the 'SMIDSY' syndrome ,I don't see how they could miss you.
