Lightest e-MTBs?

I've been thinking about this for a short while and another thread has encouraged me to post about it.

e-MTBs are heavy. My FS Cube e-MTB with top/high grade components comes in at 21kg, which is twice the weight of my carbon frame non-electric MTB with high/mid grade components (although it is a hardtail).

The lightest Bosch Performance powered e-MTBs that I've found are carbon frame hardtails from Cube:

- Cube Elite Hybrid HPC SLT (£4,999) - 16.9kg
- Cube Elite Hybrid HPC SL (£3,399) - 17.7kg

Out of interest, and retaining broadly equivalent levels of power / range (i.e. the very light Gruber / Vivax Assist wouldn't be a fair comparison), what are the lightest e-MTBs that you've found?

Rotwild 29ner hardtail 17.8kg. They would need a change of UK agent before I'd even begin to think about one.
Why as I am considering purchasing rotwild from justebikes.??????to use at Bedgebury pinetum as we now only live about 3 miles from there.

They fell flat on their face by not responding to either email, phone, or pm requesting info and answers to questions/input in relation to gearing and reported possible software issues concerning odd power delivery characteristics. I'm afraid that for me, if a dealer can't be bothered with basics, then it does not bode well beyond that.
I'm in Switerland for a couple of weeks, but when I get back, you are more than welcome to try my KTM around Bedgebury.

That's cheating - it's a road bike. :)

The mountain bike equivalent appears to be 17kg with a smaller capacity battery.
The Annad MNL7 26er is reported as 14kg, and it's a full hardtail mountain bike with either 9.3Ah or 10.2Ah battery in the downtube.

He gave lots of time when I phoned, had a good informative conversation.

The main reason I did not go on to purchase was because the battery could not be removed for charging.

I ride all year round and would not want to have to charge a battery when below freezing and bringing a mucky bike indoors is a no no for obvious reasons.

Otherwise I have no problem with either the dealer or the bikes.

I suggested the Annad because the OP was talking weight. I must say that communicating with them is difficult and the small Keyde motor has many bad feedbacks.
I thought about bringing over a small number of Annads but the poor communications and they have no trade discounts. It appears they want to direct sell from China ,direct to the end user but even that was difficult to understand, maybe just difficulties in translation, which is a rare problem in China now.
I didn't want to give the impression that I was recommending them,to be fair I have no personal negatives or positives, didn't get that far.
