What would happen if someone ordered a motor wheel, controller, panel, sensor, charger battery, rack and controller for a Tourer? Would you sell them as spares? I calculate that as £420, which is pretty good for a kit.
Dave,our spares are there for that purpose as spares for bikes that we sell. You are correct that if you collated the 'big bits' together it is almost possible to have enough spares to produce a conversion kit,but it would still have missing items-the wiring loom etc. So we would recommend that customers purchased elsewhere with a supplier who offers the complete kit,this recommendation is for the benefit of the customer. I made the decision to price the spares fairly so that if a part failed outside warranty then keeping the Kudos bike on the road would not be expensive,this is particularly evident with our competively priced batteries,it does mean that these spares can often be used on other bikes,no problem.
