Kudos spare parts enquiry

Hi everyone.

I have tried to contact Kudos cycle reps with email but no reply at the moment.

I know Kudos website does sell 36v lifepo 4 10AH for their bikes

Just wondering do anyone knows do they supply battery with the controller case and rear rack? Thinking to fit their rear rack setup for my bike.

Thanks but I could not find the rear pannier rack and controller case with battery slot.

Kudos aren't open at weekends I believe. You could phone them on Monday, a battery normally arrives a day after you order it, as for the rest of the bits you'd need to ask them.

Thanks. It looks really neat to me but I have a few more questions.

Do you supply the 36v lifepo4 10AH or 15AH?

Is the rear rack very stable on 20inch?

How big is the controller box? would that fit the 250w controller?

I would great if you could show me more close-up pictures.

Hi Pat,

We don't supply LiFePO4 batteries only LiPo.

We currently have a few 10Ah LiPo's heavily reduced in price here eZee LiPo FP Battery 37v 10Ah Flat Pack for Electric Bike | eBay

The rack is quite stable and allows for the fitment of normal panniers.

Not sure what you mean when you say how big is the controller box? It is a 20amp eZee controller, 11.5 cm long x 7cm wide x 4 deep

Can you tell me the dimension of the rear rack that slots the battery in?

Can I use bigger battery for that slot?

Hi Pat,

We don't have cases for other brands of controller.

The rear rack is specifically designed for eZee batteries, other brands won't fit.
All FP (Flat Pack) eZee batteries use the same size case, 37v 10Ah, 37v 14Ah and 48v 10Ah.

Has a wisper bike He started a thread about fitting a throttle on his wisper and is trying to make it go faster than 15 mph He thinks By fitting a new battery it will do this we all told him he needs to change the controller now he is wasting everybody's time with battery's he wants lifepo4 because he thinks they are more powerful to make his wisper go faster He is wasting all out time

Sorry for asking some stupid question. I am completely new to this and try to ask everyone nicely here.

I prefer a long term instead of more powerful option so I pick lifepo4 battery.

I am sorry I did not get the throttle from u offered but I do not want to spend something end up useless.

Thanks John. Your Ezee kit looks great and it could be my future upgrade.

I have been told that +20mph 20inch folder is quite hard to handle so I gave up that idea.

In the future the wisper folder will be my backup and I will get a full size powerful ebike. That's why I prefer lifepo4 battery for my folder.

Pat,we don't sell a rack mounted LifePo4 to fit a small wheeled folder. The battery to fit our Cheetah bike is Pod style,that to fit our Versatile bike is Fish style (slides down behind the seat post) and to fit our recent Secret bike fits inside the frame,the latter is LiMn04 to save weight.
All our rack mounted LifePo4 batteries are to suit 26" or 700c wheeled bikes.
Bit confused what you are trying to achieve by changing the battery? LifePo4 will give no greater power,they are heavier than Li-Ion or Li Polymer but will give longer life.
Please explain more?

My wisper folder has started losing ranger over a year so rather than replacing the panasonic 18650 battery I am tempted to swap it with lifepo4 battery for longer life. Do you think is it wise to do? I am not sure if my existing rear rack would fit your 36v 10ah battery+controller case. Would you mind to tell me the dimension of your battery+case?

Pat,it just is not that simple. The LifePo4 batteries are also bulkier,the battery/rack/controller/controller housing are effectively an integral unit,they would look too big on a 20" wheeled folder. David Miall offers LifePo4 versions of some of his batteries,I suggest that you ask whether he offers a LifePo4 version to suit his folder.

Pat,I investigated why your original e-mail to Kudos was not answered. It was filtered by our anti virus software as of concern because the registration is Malaysian or Indonesian based-that and Vietnam are the countries from which most virus originate,the e-mail was moved to our junk file.
I strongly recommend you change your e-mail host to another location otherwise your e-mails are likely to be rejected elsewhere.
We don't supply conversion kits because these are almost as expensive as complete bikes and our product liability insurance will not cover conversions.
