I'm happy to say that I've replaced my Rose bike with the KTM EStyleP which is proving to be every bit as good as I had hoped, following forum reviews of the E-CrossP (thanks EddiePJ, for pointing me in that direction). The bike looks and feels very well made and is a joy to ride. It is nimble and fast thanks to the Panasonic hub motor which is quite unobtrusive although not silent. The Shimano Deore XT gears shift very smoothly and I have not yet found it necessary to use the lowest range. I am not 100% happy with the brakes, particularly the rear, however this is probably just a question of getting the adjustment right. The range is good - a few nights ago I did a 23 mile ride which involved several long, fairly steep hills and had 51% battery capacity left at the end. Today, the same ride into a fresh headwind, using more assist, left 43% capacity.
