Hi all,I have a KT36 48SVPR-EPO2B Controller I'm finding it difficult to obtain a frame fitting box to put said controller into, most controller boxes I've seen are far to big for the KT36/48v controller I have ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Stevie.

Yes your absolutely correct a size would help
110/40/60mm.
Cheers Stevie.
I keep mine in one of these under-seat toolbags. There are all sorts of sizes and shapes. The advantage is that you can stick all the over-length cable in there too. My controller has lived happily in that bag for 10 years. I also have a compartment for a puncture kit in mine.

That controller is only rated to 7 amps - that's not enough current for any meaningful ebike motor - maybe you have a different use for it?

The controller is rated at 7 amps but will carry a maximum of 15 Amps which is common enough for 250W rated motors.
I think its fairly usual to 'rate' the controllers at about half the maximum current, e.g. My 22Amp (max) controller is rated at 11 amps, my 20A max is rated at 10A etc.

That's it. The rated current doesn't mean much. The controller is guaranteed to run at that current all day, but the actual current you use is rarely at the maximum unless you do something daft, like use it for a 328 rpm motor in a large wheel, which will overheat it. Please don't ask how I know.

It is what we refer to as a KT 15a controller , other ampages are 17, 20, 22, 25 on so forth. 15a is a commonal defualt rating for KT if you buy other cheap china bikes the controller will be 12 or 13 sometimes.

House the controller in a bag , either a behind /under saddle bag or use top tube frame bag.

Thanks I'm probably going to use the same as you,a bag should do the job
