KT LCD3 not displaying speed or distance - just zeros

This is a kit I built up for my daughter's trike. For some reason the display just shows 0.0 for speed and distance. Everything else works fine. Is this a setting or maybe something is broken?

It does show avg. speed, so something most be registering.

Also, is the new KT LCD8H a direct replacement?

Is this a new fitted kit or one that has stopped showing speed once fitted ?

LCD8 isn't a replacement, just another compatible display.

What sort of speed sensor are you using. Is it a wheel magnet type or one in the motor?
