kiox 4.0.2.0 software update storing ride data

went for a ride yesterday and noticed after syncing the phone to the kiox the ride data was sent to the app so is now being stored in the display and then sent to the app when a phone is connected to the display.

went out again today with no phone and same thing.


it did not do this b4 i updated the display software but this could mean the end of all dongles esp with the smart displays on gen 4 motors.

i can just put the purion display back on if it does become a problem but my motor is gen 2 cx but just goes to show these smart motors mean nothing it is the displays that will end all dongles doing crap like this esp if you have gps as well it tracks everything data wise.

just dont use the app or dont share the data simple as that
