Not strictly e bike related but may be of interest to low users of internet on the move..

Samba have released a SIM (£5) that offers free internet. Catch being you have to watch lots of adverts to accrue credit. hard to explain but here is a link with thread that explains what is happening. Basically you can have ads running in background with volume of and accrue credit..seems to work for some going by thread. you don't have to watch ads on device can do it on PC and just let them run in background..

we normally use Ipad when away via wifi as tarrifs in eurpoe expensive. this may be the answer for the odd weekend away etc....as monthly tarrifs hard to justify when yiou dont use it outdoors much....Here is all the info, knock yourselves out!

Nice one. GiffGaff is well worth checking out too if you use mobile internet and don't want to be tied into a contract.. for £10 a month top-up they give unlimited internet and texts to any network and unlimited calls anytime to other GiffGaff network users.. if someone else you need to call regularly has a dual SIM phone it's worth getting them a free GiffGaff and sticking £5 credit on it, then you can call them unlimited anytime of the day, and they don't need to top up.

was going to get the gif gaf but son says 3 deal a bit better? but like you say maybe more to it..

Have blackberry's with internet, email, and messaging so dont really take the IPad out much, and as we use it more indoors and abroad a bit pointless going on contract?

this may well suit as if we go away in the van here for a weekend and no wifi this "free" service would probably be enough. good thing being the credit does not run out you just store it up.....

I have T.mobile on PAYG and pay £5 for 30 days internet, 500mb allowance, which is enough for general browsing, cheapest deal I know of.

Pay as you go Boosters
