Hello, my name is Kevin, I'm from Manchester.

I cycle for pleasure, mainly around Cheshire, the peaks, lancs using a normal hybrid.
Looking to get end elec bike to do the same but go further a field and higher!
Hills are getting harder and would love to cycle the lakes dist, which has always been a hill too far/high as I'm getting older!

Went to the recent nec show and was sold.

This forum has been a great source of info and advice and am almost ready to take the plunge.
Currently looking at the wisper 905se and oxygen emate city.

I spent months wondering which bike to try. Finally I made a decision and haven't looked back, having not cycled for years (but when I used to I cycled everywhere). Took up cycling again many years later and realised I was very, very unfit and typically middle aged.

I went for a crank driven bike - best for getting up hills. I live in a very hilly area and now I can get up all of them. I would never, ever go back to a normal bike now. I still have to put the effort in to get up the hill and have lost a stone in weight since the Summer, which is a great start. I'm toning up lots of slack muscles too. I love it. Good luck in your quest. In the end I found I needed to try many bikes to come to my decision. Once I tried the crank driven bike I realised the other bikes that I almost bought just weren't as good for my situation. Its all down to personal choice.

Thanks Bob. We had planned to visit your shop yesterday but ran out of time. We had demos in Bolton ans Macclesfield which were great, but you're still on our list.
