Kalkhoff battery question

Hope someone can help
I am looking for a replacement battery for Kalkhoff Agattu pedelec .

previous owner stamped dates on charger, first charge 2008 so assume bike is 2008 ish

the charger number is NKJ039

output : dc 29.3v 1.8v
Class 2 battery charger

That will be the version with the Panasonic 26 volt motor, later they used different motors. There's various sources online for these quite expensive batteries, available in various capacities:

Class 2 battery charger
A word of caution since it appears you may have just bought the bike. Are you sure the motor unit is working before you buy an expensive battery?

There are no spares available from Panasonic and the internal circuit board is encapsulated and unrepairable if faulty.

Thanks for quick response, can I ask, how do you know Kalkhoff model ? I see Kalkhoff aguttu but no number

It was released at the end of 2007 only as the Kalkhoff Agattu.

Later they introduced a version with a Panasonic front hub motor so to distinguish the two, the one with the centre crank motor was called Agattu C, the one with the front hub motor was called Agattu F.

However both used the same batteries, originally 8Ah or 10Ah but later larger ones.
