Walking into town on Saturday I passed a house being renovated and just leaving it was a scruffy individual with a bulging rucksack which had some new looking metal poking out of the top and as I wasn't too happy with him being behind me I slowed to let him pass. On our way to town he was looking into the yards and gardens, entering one to have a better look at something that caught his attention which prompted me to either possibly put myself in harms way or mind my own business, but having had a bike stolen I decided to risk taking his photo and called the police on 101.
I followed him on chatting with the police until he disappeared down a snicket heading for the local scrap yard.
Police rang me back 30 minutes later for more info telling me they knew who it was..
Yesterday when out for my morning walk I spotted him again, as before heading for the scrapyard carrying a sink.
Obviously his task in life is to clear up any metal he can find laying about and helpfully recycling it..
