Denwyn....you are giving everyone the impression that the Kudos City is some enormous bike. The seat height from floor to top of saddle is 890mm(35") with the suspension seat. If you delete the suspension seat that can be reduced by 60mm to 830mm(32.7"). These are actually quite low seat heights.
I have just sold a Kudos Eco bike to a lady 5'5" tall, that bike has a minimum seat height of 870mm(34") and the lady was comfortable with the seat raised slightly.
At 5'10" tall you should be comfortable on any Kudos bike.with the possible exception of the Duke model.
Perhaps others could state their heights and their seat heights as a comparison.

Ironically....I have a customer just arrived who has the Kudos Liberty bike (same as City but without the crossbar),he is 5'10" tall with short legs (his description, not mine!)....he sets his seat height at 900mm and describes riding the City as comfortable as an armchair.
He has deleted the suspension seat, not to lower the seat but he prefers the solid seat post.
Denwyn,I am trying to keep patience with your problem but quite frankly do not understand it.
Your height and leg length should be perfect to ride the Kudos City.
When you sit on the seat can you touch the ground with both your toes?

No more mention of the Kudos City from me. I am sorry I ever bought it. Yes the price and bike quality are first class. I am hoping its going to be gone soon. Sorry but were all different while it seems to suit others it's not for me. I made the mistake, no blame at all on you at all. THE END. :)

Me: 6ft, 40.5 inch (1.03 m)
'Er: 5ft6, 36 inch (0.91m)
Boy: 3ft9, 25 inch (0.64m)

(floor to top of saddle)

Note that 'Er could best be described as a reluctant cyclist, and boy is 5 years old.

Me - 5ft7, 37" (on Dutch bike - a bit higher at the back of the saddle as it's so comfy). Which is as low as the suspension seatpost will go and right on the limit of what I can handle.

By the way - when people talk of measuring inside leg for bike fitting, do you push the "package" completely out the way, go up as far as you can to top of crotch and drop the measurement to the floor ? Being serious btw - it makes a good inch or more of difference to the result as against what, say, a tailor being gentlemanly might measure 'up there' !!

Is this officially SAGA Mk II now?
No. We've had Episode I: 'I want it, I bought it, Don't like it' and Episode II: I'm going to sell it, I'm going to sell it, I've got to keep it'. This is Episode III: I'm keeping it, but looking at other bikes, and going to sell it'
I'm going to wait for the box set.

My Kudos sport is 9300mm with its extended seat post, my height is 5'6" with a inseam of 28". When I am stationary I can just tip toe at a slight angle but prefer to be in the standing position. I never use the throttle to start from a stationary position and always like to pedal a couple of turns before applying the throttle or the PAS kicks in

ps I meant 930mm seat height

6'2"...... 42" seat height and i'm on tip toes.

As denwyn ignored my post on this thread, I assume he has no interest in fitting a kit to a bike of his choice.

Its gone, sold tonight to forum member bazwaldo. He was well pleased with it,and got a bargain. Me...I'm glad to see the back of it. No more sagas, I'm trying before I buy next time,no more impulse buying and nothing as big as the Kudos City, which I still think was a big bike. Best of luck with your new bike Baz.

No more posts re e-bikes, since I sold the Kudos City, I have tried a few others out, unfortunately the one I would have bought was way to expensive, and the cheaper ones to be honest were poor. I even looked into buying a standard bike and converting it, well not me doing it as it looks to complex, not much of a saving doing that, buy the time you pay someone to put it together. Lost £200 on the Kudos City, that hurt and I think it's time to give up now... Thanks for all the help.:)
