Thanks for the reply, I agree I need to try the bike before buying, having already made a big mistake in buying a totally unsuitable Kudos City,I have tried lots to get used to it but its to big. Have you any dealers in the south west area.Hi DW
The seat height on both the Juicy Sport or Merlin is the same because each use the same frame, which is 18". You can choose either a suspension seat post or a tip-up seat post (which is useful for battery removal). Adding the suspension post increases the saddle height by a couple of inches.
You can also choose just some of the Merlin features if you wish.
Best, if you can, to try any bike before you decide and any of our retailers would be happy to offer a demonstration ride for you.
The latest Juicy range introduced at the Cycle Show last week all benefit from some significant improvements designed to make servicing even easier and will appear on our website soon. In the meantime the 2013 range is still in stock in most colours.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for that, I hope you don't think I'm being difficult, but I really don't want such a small wheeled bike.Hi Denwyn,
If it is a bike with low saddle height you are looking for in addition to excellent performance the compact eZee Street is hard to beat.

Not difficult Denwyn, just a whole lot more pickyThanks for that, I hope you don't think I'm being difficult, but I really don't want such a small wheeled bike.
What is your inside leg measurement, if you don't mind me asking DW?Thanks for the reply, I agree I need to try the bike before buying, having already made a big mistake in buying a totally unsuitable Kudos City,I have tried lots to get used to it but its to big. I''m 5' 10". 29.5" inside leg. What is your inside leg measurement, if you don't mind me asking DW?
In that case we have the perfect bikeI'm a bit old fashioned when it comes to bikes though, don't like the smaller wheeled ones, and prefer a gents bike.
That's much the same as me. I find that medium frames (50cm / 20") with the saddle raised up a bit are most comfortable. I wouldn't have thought you needed a small framed bike and you certainly shouldn't find it difficult to find a bike is suitable. Do you know what size the Kudos is?I''m 5' 10". 29.5" inside leg.
At 29.5" inside leg you'd be fine on the Juicy Sport or Merlin. So it would certainly be worth the drive to try. I know that they have stock of the 2013 Sport at Swindon, but not the new "Click" range yet. It's a pity you couldn't make the NEC show which would have been a perfect opportunity for you to try a vast number of bikes.Oh believe me I have no intention of buying anything mail order, after making a huge mistake in buying the Kudos without trying it. I just can't get on with it at all,and its £650 wasted. I have tried a couple of bikes out, a Gepedia Reptila 900 and a Raleigh Leeds, preferred the Gepedia but its expensive, and after buying the Kudos I'm not keen on chucking almost £ 1900 on another bike. I do intend trying a few more, liked the look and spec of the Juicy Sport or Merlin, and will try and get a test ride on one if I can. I'm a bit old fashioned when it comes to bikes though, don't like the smaller wheeled ones, and prefer a gents bike.
Sorry but I don't know the frame size, doesn't really matter anymore,as next bike will be fully test ridden before I part with anymore money. That's much the same as me. Its top of my list, plus a throttle. Seat height needs to be right though. Oh ! Yes and the weight, looking more at the quoted weights as well now.Remember Denwyn don't forget what you really need.......... light weight and instant power from the moment you push the pedal........ don't forget......... remember the seat height is not the issue.........
